Seward Park - Earth Day Community Restoration ...04/22/2017

Host: Seward Park Audubon Center

Activities

We are keeping Seward Park's forest healthy! We've removed invasive plant species and are now covering the work area with burlap and mulch in preparation for fall planting. Get ready to move a mountain of mulch and place it in just the right spots!

Open to the public

All ages OK

32 out of 40 volunteers registered.

What to Bring

Dress for the weather! Boots are great, but any closed toe shoes will work as long as you're OK with getting them dirty. We'll provide the tools and the work gloves. Bring your water bottle! We'll provide a few light snacks and coffee.

Where to Meet

We will meet at the Audubon Center and walk up together.

Where to Park

Park in the lower lot near Andrew's Bay swimming beach or in the parking lot adjacent to the playground.
