Join Seattle's East African Elder volunteers along with Tilth staff and neighbors as we restore 6 acres of wetlands and forests on Seattle's largest urban farm.

What to Bring

Dress for work and the weather: long pants,long-sleeved shirts, rubber boots or sturdy shoes, and rain gear. Tools, gloves, and water will be provided, but bring any food you’d like—and a water bottle.

Where to Meet

Drive towards Beer Sheva Park at 8650 55th Ave S, Seattle 98118 and park along Seward Park Aveor at the Atlantic City Boat Ramp. Walk to the back of Beer Sheva Park toward the chainlink fence on the east edge. Look for a large, flowery metal gate, which is Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands walking entrance.

For public transit, the farm is a 20 minute walk from the Rainier Beach light rail stop at MLK & Henderson, and can also be reached via bus route 106.

Where to Park

The driving entrance to the site is closed due to construction. Park at Atlantic City Boat Ramp and walk through Beer Sheva Park to enter Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands.
