Seward Park - MLK Day of Service01/16/2017

Host: Seward Park Audubon Center

Activities

It's time to plant! One of the most rewarding parts of restoring a habitat is to plant the native plants that will continue to grow in that place for decades to come. We also have blackberry to clear to make room for eventual planting. Thank you so much for taking your MLK day to serve the park we all love!

Private Event

All ages OK

59 out of 70 volunteers registered.

What to Bring

Dress for the weather! Boots are great, but any closed toe shoes will work as long as you're OK with getting them dirty. We'll provide the tools and the work gloves. Bring your water bottle! We will provide coffee and light snacks.

Where to Meet

Meet us at Picnic Shelter 3. Enter Seward Park by car and drive up Seward Park Drive until the first parking lot on your right. You will see us over by the bathrooms! There will be signs out to help direct you to the right spot.

Where to Park

Park in the parking lot next to picnic shelter 3.
